You are the rainbow! You are the sun to my chameleon!

If a Syncehstra leak appears (and it's almost assured it will), will you download it?

BlueRaja wrote:Nope, I refuse to download it. Besides the fact that Dev prefers us not to, it's also because I love the whole experience of waiting for the release date (a bit like Christmas for me :D ), opening the CD, admiring the artwork, and listening to the album in my living room on my nice stereo with some candles lit and a couple glasses of wine. It's a total celebration of my favorite music, the way DTB intened it in all its glory.

Wow. I sound quite emotional about it really.

That is pretty much exactly what I plan to do!

I did the same when Alien came out. I had waited so long for it, so I made sure to savour the experience. I moved my big armchair right infront of my nice stereo and got some food and beer ready. I made sure I was totally comfy and ready to be absorbed.

And it was amazing! Well worth the wait.

I cannot wait for that moment...I'm torn between whether I want to sit and enjoy it in the dark with just the blue glow from my stereo, but I think I'd rather sit and examine the booklet...maybe turn the lights off after a while

This time I will be sure to only eat 'quiet' food. With Alien I was eating crisps, and that just made too much crunching. I think this time I will have a 3 course meal planned out....yeah.

1. If Dev wanted us to wait then I'll do it because its as he intended.

2. Even when I was unemployed and broke as shit I still bought 'Alien'. In fact, even though my friend downloaded it I still refrained from listening until its released date.

There are a lot of musicians who take the whole biz for granted but Dev makes an honest living out of this, SUPPORT THE CAUSE!

There is the argument that it can spoil it to hear it in poor quailty etc, or to download unmastered versions etc, but I guess that's a risk some people are willing to take

AMEN TO THAT!

Voted for 'yes' and read Dev's request and felt all shitty. I will not dl it, although I will probably spend some time looking for online place, which sends CDs to Serbia, where I can order Syn. Getting it in Budapest is solution, too... beh..

I can't even order a t-shirts from hdr site...heh

Bummer...

I'll close my eyes and not read Syn reviews. Ok, I'm lying... aa fuck it...

I will not download album nor copy mp3 from my friends. That much I can do.

I think HDR ship to anywhere in the world, which would include Serbia.

It is in countrylist, but when I go to 'checkout' it says that it's not supported country.

I can, too. I will buy the thing as soon as it will come out. I load the songs from many other bands, but not Devin.

That may just be because CCNow doesn't want to send to Serbia. Might be worth your while asking Tracy.

I'll listen to Vampira when it's released early. As for the downloading of the rest of the album... we'll see how the willpower plays out.

Yeah, it's because of CCNow and it sucks.
