Right now I am trying to collect the final mixes from everyone. Then I will know how much time (if any) I will have left on the disc.

I will give the original 'members' priority and then after that see where I stand. Ideally I would have everybody involved, but thats never going to work. If this thing does finally work out I may well do another one with different people.

If I complete my ambient album thing (you know what i'm talking about ) would that be suitable for a compilation like this? Maybe as a last "secret" track in true Devy style.

I was actually thinking of doing the exact same thing! Even if there was only a few minutes of space left, this kind of thing would be easy to squeeze in.

Maybe we can both do a bit of ambience and I will mix them into each other, that would be neat.

Who knows!

Let me know if you want to do this ambient duet and i'll throw some stuff together, maybe in Devy style as more of a tribute.

Hey everyone (who is foolish enough to read this crazy nonsense),

Just thought I would send off an update at where this is currently at. Currently I have a collection of the following final mixes of songs for use:

So it's progress, slow, but progress none the less!

In the meantime, I have been practising using all the software I will use for the mixing of this project (Cool Edit Pro 2.1). I have been occuping myself making strange sounds and trying to scare myself. Check out what I have done so far by going here:

I hope that we can work something out together, but right now I still dont know how much space will be left on the disc.

I think that even if there was 2 spare minutes, it would be really cool for me and you to work together making those 2 minutes as freaky as possible. Whatever you come up with, I can add to (or vice versa) and make it double the freakness!

Thats why I like messing with sound and doing things like this....there are no limits. It could be as brief or extended as you like.

Hell, even if there is no room left on the disc, I would still like to do this. We can upload it to that soundclick site and spam people with it. Might be fun!

Everyone should check out Blazingmonga's stuff because he is the fuckin man. Some seriously intense fuckin evil ambient soundscape stuff... Menacing shit in the vein of Lustmord and SPK. I just heard his latest track and have been given even more proof that he is among the most startling creative contributors on this board!
