Sweet. Whatever you can come up with would be great. Or if you have many such songs then a few to pick from would be cool also.

Thanks!

no prob me dear Monga :D
Sorry that i had to deliver a screwed up product
Take that one as low on your priority list as you need.

If in the end you still have space, i can try to cook something else up, drop me a message in case you have a gap somewhere and absolutely nothing to put there! ;)

It is on my list Yanko, fear not. It sounds pretty damn good at the moment but I just dont know if I can improve it much. I will play around with it tonight though.

If I have lots of free room at the end of the day I will fill it all up with some silly soundscapes or something. Perhaps a looped sample of me eating a mango.

This is good that this is finally taking shape. I had a listen last night to what I had and it was actually extremely sexual. In a sonic way, I mean.

did you touch yourself, you dirty scot? :D

you know what you should do? Get a plugin that turns images into sound freqs, record a vid of you eating a mango wearing nothing but a sock, apply the plugin on the vid, and then make a whole ambience song on top of that. That´d be awesome

and kinky, people would get horny and wouldn´t know why!

That would indeed be awesome...but I don't think it would truly capture the essence of mango-loving. I am inspired by this idea though (no, really!). I am going to sample something, that much I do know. Maybe it would be better if I left my samples without explanation...hehe.

Going to work on this tonight and this week as much as I can. It's gonna rock!

Also: Earworm has just sent me a new song today. He was already fully on board with his track 'Biomech' but seen as I have taken so long he has contacted me to suggest using a better track of his...and it sounds funking incredible. Another reason for me to be cheerful!

The HDAS project is nearing completion. Terraformer sent me a preview of what he should hopefully send me very soon. Once I have that I will have all of the core contributors finally on board. If Dan is reading: I'm counting on you dude!!!

Hooray! Just one question: Can you give us a finalized artist listing of who will be on this fine gathering of talent (I believe you were going to include my track, but I am not 100% sure)? Thanks and I can't wait to hear this thing!

You are included, absolutely! I love your track. It is short but incredibly sweet and will work well as a bridge between longer songs.

I am at work right now so I won't attempt to list everybody. It is pretty much the same as the original list, with the addition of yourself and Yanko and with the exception of Kris/Indignation. Also Mr Gozu might be providing an 8 second home brew grindcore track.

Yup.

Sweet tits! I'm almost as excited about this compilation as I am for a new Devy album. Also, I don't think has been asked yet, but what program are you using for the "mastering" of this project?

Thanks for the encouraging and breast-like comment. Sweet bosoms indeed!

This is correct...hehe. I am using Cool Edit Pro for the bulk of this project. I have also been using REAPER for some VSTi-based work of my own, which might be included on the album. But mainly CEP.

Hopefully I will be able to make even more progress tonight.

Alrighty then. If you're curious, I used Reason 3.0 for all synth effects and Pro-Tools for the recording of my track. I'm in love with both programs.

Since you are a forums moderator, does this mean you are ever in contact with DTB members/Tracy, and if so, have any of them expressed interest in hearing this magnificent compilation?

By the way, badass quote there, BM. "Little bastard shot me in the ass."

Your track has some lovely synth effects...Reason 3.0 must be good!

Forum moderation does not really mean interaction with DTB/HDR. No more than anybody else here anyway. As I mentioned earlier in the thread (more than once probably), I was fortunate enough to be able to mention it to Devin, but other than that....no. I may offer to send them a copy, but I am not going to force it down their throat. I am sure they have other things to think about just now!
