I'd buy it...that's one hell of an album.

I'll wait for a long time for it, but do please add me to the list.

How long are you in Japan for? If you were going back somewhere closer to Scotland that might be more sensible to post to you there...maybe.

Not sure how many I will be able to post this month. It is my fiancee's birthday at the end of the month and I am already running low on cash. However, next month I will have LOADS of money as I have been promoted. Maybe the HDAS disc can be an early christmas present for you all.

3) A high bitrate MP3 version of the album, uploaded as a zip file complete with printable artwork and everything. This can be uploaded onto a site like rapidshare upon request.

So how about it? I'd like to have this in proper quality before listening to it, but I'd rather not economically burden you in vain (plus I want to hear it ASAP :D).

If you can't find any nice, fast webspace to host it on you could release it as a torrent. I know I'd help seeding it with a fast connection once I get it myself ;)

Hey dude/dudette,

I can use a website like yousendit.com or rapidshare.com to host it temporarily, on request. However these websites only host files up to 100MB in size, and ideally this will be bigger than that for the higher bitrate MP3s. I can easily do a part one/part two thing with 2 zip files. I can also include the artwork so you can print it yourself.

I use bittorrent myself, but I have absolutely no idea how to make a torrent. It might be better, but I am not sure if it is easier.

Yup.

Dude. :)

Right, ok. I've never created torrents either but I can't imagine it being too difficult - you just need to find some suitable tracker. It'd be great if you did put it on yousendit with printable art, though. Two parts (or more) is good, wouldn't want to sacrifice quality more than necessary. Once I get it I'll see about making a torrent so others can get it that way as well.

Anyway, this project appears awesome, can't wait to hear it!

Yes, that will be fine. Of course, anybody that recieves the 'online package' is more than welcome to share it any which way they like. I will just need to make sure all the songs and copyright info is ok.

Maybe tomorrow I do this!

monga! one thing
the mp3s are tagged on ID3v1
retag them on ID3v2, so you can fit the whole names and stuff like that, before sending them out, and add the full soundclick address to the info :)

Actually, I have a friend in Scotland, and I am sure she'd send it to me. But, I was serious about buying it. I could send a SAE with postage paid. And, I don't need it right now, just when it's convenient for you.

Oooooooh. HDAS AND The Hummer. This is going to be a very special Joe Don Baker Christmas.

(If you don't watch MST3K, don't ask)

CD came in the post today and it must be said that it is quite the impressive package! Love the artwork on it. Bravo, Monga (and everyone else involved).

Hi everyone:

I have already posted a couple of the full discs out to people. SO...if anyone would like one, they can PM me their address. What I have been doing is adding the addresses to a wee booklet and then I will work my way through that booklet.

The artists involved will get a bit of a priority though, it is only fair.

As I mentioned before, my time is limited and as I can only post them on a saturday its not like I can fire them out instantly. I will do my best though, but please be patient. I imagine I will still be posting them out by next year maybe.

So, yeah....yaaaaaaaaay!

PS: Anyone download the high quality ones? Any problems?

My main player wouldn't play some o' them after unpacking, telling me
that the file was corrupted. Anyway, other players play the files without
problems. So if ANYONE runs into problems (certain files refusing to play)
give 'em another try with another player.

Corrupted? That is strange...hmm. I will try them all out myself again when I get the chance. Very odd.

Worked fine for me. Sounds great! I'll have to listen to it some more to fully appreciate it.

Looks like nobody really cared for my idea of torrents, so, meh, I guess rapidshare's good enough.

I think torrents would be neat, but apparently no-one knows how to make 'em :P

(I'll give it a try)

OK I've made a torrent on http://www.demonoid.com.
Find the torrent here!

I'm not sure if you can download it if you're not a registered member. So those who aren't registered... register! On a friday :P
(Apparently it also works for non-members)

I've never done this before so I can only hope this works :P

EDIT: By the way my connection is slooooooooooow and my computer turned off sometimes (but not a lot :P ) so please, be patient :)
And, if it would ever finish, seed!

EDIT #2: AMAZING!!! It's uploading :D

If you're not registered, you are only allowed access to the most recent torrents (ie. on the day they are published).
