As usual, I completely missed/neglected the newb thread.

SO, I'm 18 and currently dangerously close the end of my first year at R.I.T. majoring in Finance. I enjoy messinge with my computer(s) a bunch. I've built 3, and I don't plan on going back to buying computers with the exception of laptops.

Music has managed to consume me (as it has many of you, I'm sure). I am constantly searching out new music and I have even taken to creating my own. I've played guitar for just over 6 years now. I'll leave all of the tech-talk for another time.

I also have one quick question. Is this --> face an insult here? Judging from the nearly incomprehensible amount of kindess around here, I'd say no. I ask because it most definitely is an insult on the other boards I post on.

Oh yeah, I'm a mod of the Tabs secton on the Lamb of God boards. Don't bother to check around there, it is a quickly sinking ship that is very likely to get the axe soon.

No, this is not an insult. It is genuinely used for rolling eyes, as in "yeah right " or "pah-lease " or " you're babbling" and in self-referential cases like " don't mind me, I'm just babbling here".

We progressively thought less of insults here, which in the old days lead to peculiar situations where the context sorta suggested an insult but instead very nice guy brought you cake. This does not happen anymore, but with carefully chosen words you can discover this board's own little orange easter eggs.

P.S. You can say fuck all you want (except in personal attacks of course), although it is not very nice, but when used properly (usually in man-talk, because: always be kind with the ladies!), it gets the message across more efficiently, like "I can't fucking wait for Ziltoid to arrive!" or "Shut the fuck up about downloading the Ziltoid leak!".

Here too. This is one crazy little bastard. Very tiny but "the hell" are you able to punch your neighbours out of their bed!

My favorite tuning at the moment is the rectif. position with a very little bit chorus and delay. Sounds perfect!

but its really handy, i dont think i need another amp in a while cuz i aint gonna be a rockstar, thats why microcube is fine for me, it has plenty of effects n distortions n etc. but a new guitar would be really nice....
