Awesome stuff \m/

I just bought my first SYL CD this September  I heard Skeksis and I knew I was into something good!

Oh my Lord - "Chrimbo?" Haha that's a new one to me, it's got a nice ring to it though.

@Stevie G - Hmm, that's intriguing. Probably just a coincidence, do you think? Who knows.... Dev is ubiqutous and well, omniscient of course  So you never know!

Man, British people have to coolest idioms and sayings. Isn't the UK also responsible for "wanker?" I wish I could take credit for that one, I call people wankers all the time. :)

I wholeheartedly approve this opinion. I'm seriously fighting with myself not to use awesome expressions like "tosser", "shite" or "complete and utter cockend", don't want to look like a tit posing on British while being from eastern bit of Europe. But they're really great, my favourite youtubish pasttime is watching Charlie Brooker's clips and his creative sweary combos.

Haha, there ain't nowt wrong with being British!

Being from London also helps, seeing as a lot of bands have a habbit of coming over to the uk and only playing London......well, it's good for me but not for a lot of other peeps though!!!!!

So many other great expressions though, to many to go into here though.

On that note, i'm gonna finish my rosey, have a shower and then cook myself a ruby!!!!!!!!!

Almost all the music I like is not from the US. The stuff I like is mostly British people/bands. Some is Canadian (Obviously) some is from Scottish, Irish, shoot - African...

Not a lot of US artists in my iTunes.

British people rule at music - the rest of the world could learn some things from you guys

You forgot about the Swedes, the Swedes are massive at metal.

Awesome, glad the Brits are getting bigged up for once, thought everyone hates us lol. Funny because most of my music is of American/Canadian bands really, although a fair bit is from Sweden with the Gothenberg sound etc. Im loving Canadian music at the moment though, you've got Devy, Protest The Hero and all sorts that im listening to, all crazy Canucks. Respect. God i'd love to visit Canada, seems like a dreamland, its no wonder Dev's music seems to draw so much energy from his amazing surroundings, look at Terria for example. Its blissful to listen to. Anyhow I live in Cornwall, England and ive got to say that place is really pretty but compared to Canada......parp. Someone please let me come stay in Canada with you, i'll be your human meat slave and make tea and crumpets for you whenever you want?!?

Oh right! There's Opeth and Meshuggah (although I don't listen to tons of Meshuggah)... I'm sure there are some other Swedes in my iTunes Library. Probably quite a few Nordic people I listen to - I haven't checked :P

Haha I'm in the same boat dude! As a disgruntled and dispassioned American citizen, I'm taking my studies up North next year and hope that Canada is a better match for me. Don't get me wrong, the US is great - but I think I want a taste of the Great White North! :D

Take a trip Devymetalnut - save some money up and hop on a plane    As someone from the UK, I'm sure you're much better suited to handle snow than I. I don't know how I'm going to ajust to actual seasons!!

No-one hates the British! (Except the French)

People may make fun of you, but they make fun of every country. Including mine (tell me, what's so funny about pot and hookers? :P)

If I were to leave The Netherlands, UK would be my pick. Don't think I'll ever have the balls though :P

Aww DMN - I'm envious of you living in Cornwall. It's lovely there!
I'm stuck in Cracknell... Oops sorry, Bracknell. It's some place near Reading. I suppose it isn't the worse place in England, but it's certainly not great either :P

And Biert - The UK isn't scary... Much.

I envy YOU lol, Reading is home to some of the UK's best metal bands, we get bugger all around Plymouth/Cornwall area. And yeah Britain's not too scary, just depends where you go really i spose. I'd love to visit the Netherlands and anywhere that isn't bloody Britain though, its too expensive here and everyone seems depressed alot of the time, tis a real downer. Now the Czech Republic...... they know how to live. Neeeeed to go abroad somewhere soon, music's the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. Someone swap places with me, someone must want to surely? Everyone loves Cornwall right? Bring on Ki, I think that will cheer me up a treat, plus its always great to hear that Dev's poop is solid, thats good tiding for sure....
