What gauge strings do you have on there?

Haha I have no idea. The guy at the store who sold me the guitar told me they didn't have to change the strings (I told them I wanted GCGCGCE)... I'm probably going to take it back to drop/open C tomorrow, don't want to bend the neck in case the strings are too thick.

New music at last!!! SUPAhh-YAYY!!! :D

Lately I've been slowly realising the greatness of the Beatles and John Lennon. And found some good A Perfect Circle songs with a little help from the Imagine cover.

My ears are filled with the sweetest sounding airwaves I've heard in a long time.

One of my friends is paying me $100 do some Christmas shopping for him next Saturday. Gifts for 6 women - I just have to make him look good.
And if I like what I picked out, I can get myself one, too! Ho-ho-ho...

it seems like, over here at least, everyone has changed their tune to "oh my she is so hot". It's bewildering - she looks the same to me! I didn't know she covered Personal Jesus... Depeche Mode must feel violated.

The new Hacride album teaser is pretty awesome. From what they played in it the album is going to sound immense.

Haha I was hoping someone would beat me to the punch before I had to make a lame pun or something!

She looks the same to me as well - except maybe a little more boney and horse-faced than before. Not appealing. She should be banned from ever making music again for covering the DM. That's just... so inappropriate, and the cover was shit you know. How embarassing.

I seem to have forgotten to mention the awesomeness that is Opeth with Ihsahn as support coming to Bergen and Stavanger in Norway. Stavanger is where I live. The venue is 8 mins with bus away from my home. I love Opeth. Oh and I'm going to the Bergen gig as well :3

Indeed, we can already announce that the mighty Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly, Fear Factory, Paradise Lost …) will handle the mix of the next Sybreed‘s album: let’s say that our sound should be magnified by his talents as producer and electronica artist.

Furthermore, on our side, we are finalizing the writing process of the new album and we should start the recording process in January 2009. So far we can already say that this album is going to be a big move forward. Anyway you can already prepare yourself for some technical, sharp, brutal yet melodic music, filled with a good amount of industrial and cold wave elements: we call that “Death Wave” (for short) and it’s definitely how it is going to sound.

Ah yea, I read that the other day and was definitely happy! I'm a little more happy to know that Between The Buried and Me, TesseracT, Porcupine Tree, and Mastodon are all writing/recording/recorded new albums!
