I'm starting to dislike the new layout, its ok...but it doesn't have the charm of the original. I found it odd how after you listen to a song it doesn't show up on the playlist, you have to physically reload the page to see it.

I don't think that's odd at all. Websites don't do anything by themselves, you always have to click. Pretty much a conceptual limitation of the web, because websites were never intended to have the capabilities they have these days.
