Thanks for the replies about Anneke guys, she sounds awesome, love Hyperdrive. Holy crap this album's gonna be a stormer, can't stop thiking about it. I really want to know when/if Peavey are going to release Dev'ssignature, it looks damn sexy, really thin body too which is rather good. Also remember Dev mentioning that it will be highly affordable. The body reminds me of Blackmachine guitars, man they are shit hot. Sorry bit off topic but meh, I presume he will use the Peavey for some of Addicted.

I like Anneke's voice, but not on this version of hyperdrive. I think she is singing it much too "powerful" or "loud", and it's quite monotone as well, i think. But i'm pretty sure that the Dev will make sure that the album version will be much better.

She obviously loves this song, and she made it a bit of her own while still leaving the majesty and framework as Devin's. I, for one, cannot WAIT to hear what the collaboration will be like.

Her singing it in this video sends chills up my spine, just as much as the original version.

Hey everyone! Sorry about the off topic-ness of this post....

I recently met a girl that has a BEAUTIFUL voice. Its pretty much amazing. She sang for me one night and I was BLOWN AWAY. So of course, I asked her if she'd be willing to make some music with me and she very quickly agreed which is awesome. Eventually I'd like to think we will compose our own songs but for the sake of the "newness" of the whole thing I figure we will cover some stuff first and maybe post it on youtube or something to see what people think.

Which Devy songs do you think would lend themselves to a good cover with some female vocals? I have a few ideas but I was curious to think what everyone on the board thought.. Im pretty sure if we play some mic nights or what not I would play guitar and both she and I could both sing and she also plays piano too.. Any ideas???
