I think I'm going to score one of these when I deposit my check. Maybe a little bit esoteric for bass, but very cool when used. Justin Chancellor is proof that you can get a shitload of use out of it.

I bought one years ago. I used it for a few months. There are some bad ass things you can do with it, but the uses are limited when not in a band, to be honest.

Oooh, that'll sound tasty...

And to be honest, aren't the uses of a lot of thigns limited when not in a band?

Depends on how you write your music.

... Have you not just gone against your own comment, then? o-O

It's double sided. I dont really take a lot of special effects into consideration when writing and recording music. That being said, if I were in a band I probably would have more use for the effects I have.

Aaah, I see. I rarely take effects into consideration until I've nearly finished the song and realise a dose of phaser would be awesome here or there. But then again, it's fun when you're warming up or whatever to just layer on effects and shred like crazy. =D

Curses. Well I hopes he gets a buyer, they're awesome.

I'm not in a band; sometimes being on your own gives you the chance to really let imagination run wild, without the restrictions of having to please everyone. Last time I tried playing with others, it was suffocating. 'How about you just play the octave or the fifth, Catlin.' 'Don't use any chorus, Catlin,' 'we won't play in drop-D, Catlin,' 'make it funkier Catlin.' I hated the last one the most :| Funk: Do. Not. Want. ANYWAYS, that was a bit of a tangent, but this is what it said on wiki: seems pretty cool. Plus: JUSTIN. CHANCELLOR.

Harmony effects
* One octave down - One octave up
* Fourth down - Third down
* Fifth up - sixth up
* Fourth up - fifth up
* Minor third up - major third up
* Second up - third up

Detune effects
* Detune

Whammy effects
* One octave up
* Two octaves up
* Two semitones down
* One octave down
* Two octaves down

I think the octave options will be really useful; especially for bass.

I'm not sure I've ever said any of those thigns to any bassist. Well, apart from the last one - BUt that was in a funk band, so I'm not sure it counts.

Awww wonderful, Phase. That's how to keep a good bassist around.... so why do people always wonder why they can't find good ones.... :?

I guess I should've added that to one of the 'bandmates,' having played for "5 years" means over the course of 5 years, she's played guitar about 5 times :lol:

Painkiller Gold Edition from Steam

I heard it was a very fun PC FPS. I miss old school FPS type games, so I went and downloaded it.
