So my band and I just played our first REAL gig (we've only played battle of the bands and some family gig before... and we earned money from this, woot!) Wednesday night and had the whole thing recorded. We think it was probably our best performance yet, most people said good things about this, though I always see room for improvement, hahaha. We were the youngest band playing with the four of us at only 16

Ok, that's all besides the point. Here's are the recordings: http://www.myspace.com/teearebee I'd just like to hear what people I've never met, and fans of the one and only HevyDevy :), have to say, good and bad.

Just listen to 2-3 songs maybe, don't have to listen to the whole thing, anything at all would be appreciated! The best songs are Beware(the only cover, of a local FUNK band, so it's nothing at all like the original, except the chord progression) 1001 Arabian Nights and Flightplan.

Thanks all! :guitar:

the song Subtle Delay should be fourth

He accidentally included the period as part of the link. Copy and paste it without the period to hear it.

well, there's tons of room for technical ability and sound quality to improve but the tricky thing that loads of bands get wrong is the feel and atmosphere and that is where you make me pay attention. I do like the feel and the atmosphere the rest is just practice, keep going.

no really, just keep playing like you mean it.

Sorry about the link... Yeah, the technicality can only improve with practice and we paid the sound guy $5 for him to record this. He had the CD burned within 10-15 minutes after we played so sound quality isn't amazing. Guitar tone, etc is being figured out... I need to work on my improv solos, they're too "shreddy" and out of key in some songs.

Hooray for guitar lessons!
