Rorschach has gone downhill in the space of 3hrs and I rushed her to the vet at 03:00. She was unconscious but still breathing. He injected her and has taken her to his home surgery to give her a fluid IV drip and try to bring her round. He fears it's feline enteritis (or however you spell it) she is too young to have her innoculations. He doesn't hold out much hope for her and if there's any signs she's suffering, he'll phone for authority to put her to sleep.

Ok update. Vet just phoned and she's made it through the night, but is conscious and staggering about. I quote "Her recovery is amazing, for her to go down then uphill so quickly it can't have been enteritis, but a brain bug- much similar to human meningitis". Another sad side effect is that she's now blind, but it's unknown whether it's permanant. If she keeps improving she'll be home tonight. What a little fighter!
