No way..

Maybe 800-1000 on a very GOOD day...(very good)

Big as in 'lots of songs, and cool surprises' (700 foot inflatable Ziltoid?, $1000 bills hidden in urinals?...)

Why does it suck? It will be much more intimate that way. I enjoyed watching Anthrax in a smaller venue (in the mid 90's) where I could get right up to the stage and Scott Ian's sweat was hitting my face.
I also saw Megadeth and Exodus in a relatively small venue, a "theater" in Portland. That was kickass too.

Then again, I got close enough at Ozzfest (late 90's) for Ozzy to shoot me with the super soaker. But that was when I was 20 something and I could take all the beatings required to get up front and center. I don't remember which year it was, but Slayer played.

Hey I just looked up the past history of Ozzfest lineups and my band opened for two of the bands in there! Now I feel all famous :D. The show where we opened for them was terrible though. Those bands are all wiggity wack, limp bizquick clones. We were a thrash/death metal band. I remember someone shouting "Go back to the 80's!" lol. Even though we weren't that well received, I'll still always remember that show.

I can see that it would suck for Dev monetarily, but as a fan, I think it's awesome. Damn myself for moving away from the Pacific Northwest, one of the best places to live in the US.

I am really looking forward to the Vancouver show. Any clues as to when it will be?

I'm guessing no show in Victoria...

Yeah i totally wrote it wrong, i'm in Dev playing in an "intimate"show doesn't suck, not at all, what does suck is that 1000 people go see him in a "very good day".Talking about popularity, just that but I expressed it really bad

when is this big hometown Vancouver show? Depending on the date, I may be able to roadtrip up to Canada to catch it. It'd make my world...
