Hey guys!

In response to my old thread on my band. Since that time, my band Shattered, has been working on our debut E.P.

To get a rough Idea what we sound like here is our youtube page from our last gig with our fill-in bassist and without vocals.

We just finished up recording, and we are on the editing/mixing/mastering segment. It should take roughly 3-4 more days and the E.P. will be available.

If you're interested in hearing a sample of our stuff, shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for checking my band out! Very interested in what you guys think of it!

Wow, thanks!

*I'm the drummer, BTW*

I know the videos are bootleg quality but I love those videos. I'm currently wrapping up the production (Editing, mixing Mastering) as I speaker, and for never producing anything ever before in my life. I think this sounds absolutely killer.

I basically developed OCD the last few weeks trying to get every little last detail right. It was all trial and error roughly 12-14 hours a day on producing but I think you guys will like it.

Dev inspired me to produce this by myself and with the band. He said himself that a band going DIY is the best way to go, and I agree 100%.

I'm not sure when i can set up a song (or all 4) for people to hear just yet, but I'll keep you posted.

The vocals are not the typical Deathcore vocals I hear everyone in my area of Wisconsin/Minnesota do. Most comparisons I've heard from people so far are Matt Barlow of Iced Earth, John Bush of Anthrax, and Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. Out goal is a band is to kill of Deathcore and bring back Thrash with elements of Prog and Groove mixed in.

Been a while since I posted here, I've been extremely busy as of late with Shattered.

We are up to 10 full songs and we start recording our full length album in July. Live video of 9 of our 10 songs I'll be putting up very soon. I just gotta wait for my singer to convert all the songs to be put on the computer and I'm good to go.

Here's a few promo pics:

Once I get a breather I'll be back posting on the other areas of the boards. Thanks again for all the support so far!

Hey guys, I probably should have done this back in March when this was finished but today we all decided that it's now time to put up our whole EP up for everyone to hear.

Just a couple side notes: First we decided on doing this because we will be recording our full length album this July so we are just treating this as a sample of what to expect. Also the quality has seemed to gone down a lot from uploading on youtube. The physical CD sounds much better then this, as some of you already have heard.

We have added 6 new songs since this EP was made back in March. We have live video of 5 of those new songs that will hopefully be made available soon. Technology sucks sometimes.

Anyways I hope you guys enjoy this 21 minute preview of IMO, Wisconsin's best Progressive Thrash Groove Metal band, SHATTERED!

Thanks!

*This will also be up on our Myspace, and Facebook accounts, I just added it up on your Youtube first.*

Thanks man! That is one of my favorite tracks. Just all the changes in mood, while flowing all together is just so damn cool.
