Yeah it gets pretty bad. I admit I was absolutely hooked on the first few seasons....when everything was relatively PLAUSIBLE. Once they brought the completely ridiculous crap in I couldn't stand it anymore. The series finale was probably one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

I think it tries too hard to bring a full on psychological element to the small screen. Every single episode had a "cliffhanger" and some of the plot twists were absolutely retarded in every way, but if you're open to a bit of a fantasy element then you might just enjoy it.

Such an underrated game/series. I think too many people scoff at the puzzle genre in terms of console gaming, I suppose sometimes I'm the same. I guess the art direction is a little childish though. Still, I loved it back in the day when people thought Gamecubes were any good. When they ported it, I couldn't resist.
