I saw you play in Helsinki last week. Needless to say, you rocked! But you have no idea how hard the trip was for me!

I was on the road with my little brother and a friend, and we borrowed my girlfriend's mother's car. We live about 230 km north from Helsinki, so it was supposed to be about a three hour trip. But about 70 km before Helsinki, the car broke down - we managed to get it to a resting area along the motorway, but when we stopped, there was a ton of smoke and the engine was seriously overheating. Needless to say, I was freaking out for two reasons - my GF's mom wasn't gonna be happy at all, and it also looked like we were going to miss your gig! I don't even know which one was worse... Well, we were stuck on that resting area for 1½ hours or so, but finally got a tow truck to tow the car, and by miraclous coincidence, my other brother, who lives in Helsinki, was able to pick us up from a nearby gas station, and in the end, we managed to see your gig after all! We missed the first three songs, though, as Kingdom was playing as we came in... But after all that had happened, it was a small price to pay!

The gig was definitely worth all the trouble. I probably won't be attending Tuska this summer (I already saw you twice last year... ), but the next time you'll come to these parts of the North, I'll be sure to be there! Finland loves you, Devin!

Oh, and please please give my love to Anneke. She's the best.
