very very impressed. Not a weak link on there. The way the album starts is completely perfect. Eases you in gently before losing its mind! I get the impression i will appreciate it even more after a few listens

Never has an album blown me away so god damn hard on a first listen. The brilliant thing is, I know I have at least 20 more listens to look forward to until I've absorbed the whole thing.
Review score: 12 out of 10. Ridiculous. Amazing.
It's very nearly an all-out assault of just heavy beauty. But where there are let ups in the brutal energy, it's always replaced by something equally awesome.
It's obvious on the track 'Deconstruction' that Townsend is aware of where the album is at that point, like he's exhausted from how relentless it all is, but there still has to be one last burst of energy, and holy shit that last burst is brilliant.

Something I noticed is that aside from 'Sumeria', I never noticed any guest musicians. Maybe my ears just weren't picking it up? The only guest I may have picked up was the Meshuggah guitarist on 'Deconstruction' around when the drums are stuttering. I'm a HUGE Greg Puciato fan, and I never picked his voice up... I guess I'll have to re-listen to it! What a chore that will be

Townsend has officially been locked in as my favourite musician.

I think Greg sang the "Praise God/Satan" parts of the song.

This album is like some supermassive star, can barely stay together under its own weight, but somehow manages...
words fail me man, I felt faint and dizzy after it finished.
This is probably my favourite Devy album EVER. 100/10

That was so fucking awesome... Deconstruction is really hard to process and now my head hurts!

I am already loving Stand, Planet Of The Apes and Sumeria. Some other tracks (especially The Mighty Masturbator and Deconstruction) are just crazy and very hard to get into! But I know I will, eventually.

Truly a masterpiece...

Whenever I hear the part on Planet of the Apes, "I say have it your way!", I can't help but getting a craving for some Burger King! lol I suppose that was intentional because of the cheeseburger aspect of the story.

Well, you are in possession of something that was produced to be bought and paid for, but you obtained it without doing so. That kind of sums up stealing.

And I stole the hell out of it! However, I have two t-shirts on the way now, as well.

As expected, I don't like everything so far. There were some great parts too however, I'd even call them beautiful in places.

I expected at least a little agression, but I haven't heard any. Just chaotic madness. The Mighty Masturbator was weird, but I think I'm going to like that one!

Only Deconstruction and Poltergeist are left... Can't wait to hear them.

Deconstruction so far is probably the weirdest song I ever heard.
