A question to anyone who might know -

I've just noticed that the official version of Ghost doesn't actually come with the song Radial Highway. I'm not too pleased about that, first, because I've heard bits and pieces of it from Dev's demo's in the past and it sounded fucking amazing; second, because it comes with the goddamn iTunes version of the album! Why wouldn't that be on the official release?? I can only hope Dev chooses to release some kind of B-sides album with songs like that from the DTP sessions at a later date. Still, I'm not pleased. We've waited nearly 2 years. Is it greedy to want it all?!
And I'm aware that the same thing has happened with Decon, but I'm less upset about that for some reason. Perhaps because I know Decon is going to be such a mindfuck, any reprieve might be a welcome one, LOL.

So, does anyone know what the deal is with all this?

CDs can only hold as much music as there already is on both Ghost and Decon. No more tracks would fit on them

iTunes often requires bonus tracks for the digital version. That's all it is. There IS a boxset, so I'm going to reiterate, SETTLE DOWN BEAVIS.

Another pending from insideout, haven't even been charged despite ordering on May 16. Not very impressed - I'd been hoping I might actually have it by now... now we have hit the release date seems more like the order has been "forgotten about".

If you are concerned, them write some emails and make some calls. I'm pretty sure the folks at InsideOut do not read the forums.

Thats the plan, I'm just waiting for the rest of the world to get up to the 20th of June before I do just in case its something to do with that.

I walked into my local metal store two days ago and was amazed to hear Decon coming through the speakers. I left immediately.
It seems ironic that we in AU pre-order the albums and eventually get them a month after everyone else.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I must admit, I hadn't considered the idea that there simply wasn't enough room on the disc to include it. But that said, I'm really surprised that it didn't make the final cut because it always seemed like it was going to be one of the highlight songs on the album. He played a demo of it last year in March (when he was here in Melbourne) at an instore acoustic gig he did. It was amazing. Plus, it was featured in one of his Youtube "making of Ghost" vids, so I assumed it would be a 'flagship' song, so to speak. I guess the good news is that he must have felt the songs that made the final cut are even better!!

Static2 - I bought mine through InsideOut so I guess I'm shit out of luck on that download option too, hehe.

And as much as the boxset sounds cool, I didn't really have plans to buy it because it would mean a complete duplication of all the DTP cd's I've already bought, with the bonus of getting the nice extras. Hopefully those extras will be made available separately because there's no point getting all the main albums again.

Really? Wow, that surprises me. I guess I must have missed that. I've been avoiding anything that could be too spoilerish about the albums, so I must have missed that one. Thanks for letting me know

I'm certainly going to download Ho Krll and Radial Highway when they come out with my lovely itunes gift card.
