Wow, if so that's a much greater shame than Limp Bizkit, haha. I rather like Aerosmith.

But I don't want to miss a thing. Damn I feel jaded. Still, I'll stay optimistic with Devin coming back and dream on...

Sounds like now that the promoters are trying to put together a series of smaller "themed" shows for the bands who were scheduled for Soundwave. A "metal" show, a "punk" show, that kind of thing. I've heard that Van Halen will not be there anytime soon, but there is a really good chance that Devin may end up in one of the smaller shows planned.

It looks like Soundwaves inability to be professional has paid off, as now Townsend will return with Gojira, Machine Head AND Dillinger Escape Plan.
So there's one extra band that is worth seeing.
Pretty ridiculous that my 3 favourite bands of all time (plus machine head) will be playing on the one day.

I might go now. Dillinger is a welcome bonus.

So, the next Soundwave's line up, with Devin, has been released. Plenty of other awesome bands, bands that make me go "meh", and bands that I will happily avoid.

Meshuggah and Limp Bizkit in the same show, with the latter receiving higher billing. What the hell?
I'm tempted to go, but I'm also tempted to see who gets sideshows. We'll see.

The fact that Limp Bizkit are on the line up at all is bullfuckery. They'd be better suited at Big Day Out. Oh well.

Ah, didn't know that. *shrugs*

Yeah, if there are sideshows for the other bands I'm interested in seeing I'll just go to them, higher accumulative ticket prices be damned.

Just noticed that the Adelaide Soundwave date is March 3rd...same day as the 1st Clipsal 500 V8 round.
Gonna be busy over there.
I'd like to do a multi-city effort like last time, but if there is a side show in Adelaide...it would very likely have to be Sunday 4th, again overlapping with the Clipsal. Flights could be scarce.
I guess I'll suss it out if and when it is added.
