Thunderstorms. Ones that go for hours at a time. Beautiful. Though my shoes are still soaked.

My Facebook finally recommended me a product that is ideally suited to me.

An Yngwie Malmsteen humidor. Complete with a mini-booklet detailing Yngwie's recent achievemnets. As if having a signature humidor was not achievement enough.

just heard that I got accepted into the new "feature" department of our newspaper. So. Much. Win! For me, that is. No more writing boring news-stories! :D

Ground almonds, ground walnuts, cocoa powder, vanilla powder, sweetening and melted coconut oil... rolled into balls and dipped into a mixture of more melted coconut oil, sweetening, vanilla and cocoa powder. THAT IS AWESOME. I love finding heavenly recipes that corresponds with the odd selection of ingredients I have here.

I have had a very strange last couple days. It's been like yin and yang, awesome and unawesome, flowers and diarrhea. Anyway, I'll start with the awesome here, then move over to the unawesome thread...

So I had this past Friday off so I decided I'd go look at engagement rings. My girlfriend and I had gone to a ring store randomly a few weeks back just to look around randomly and we actually found one she and I both quite liked (cute story around that too, but I won't get into it). Anyway, I didn't want to just spring on the first thing I found, so I decided I'd do more looking. So I go around to maybe 6 or 7 different jewelry stores and notice that none have a ring that is even coming close to the one we saw before. I decide to go back to the original shop just to look at the ring again and I just realize it's the perfect the one. So, without any intention of buying that day, I walk out having bought the ring ($250 in down payment later as well  ). Apparently my credit is incredible too which I had no idea about, the lady helping me was like fawning over it lol. But anyway, that was pretty awesome.

Now yesterday, on the other hand, and moving to the unawesome topic...
