Band I followed fanatically for most of my life has a boxed set coming. That got me excited so I decided to write a couple pieces about my experience as a fan. Sent one along at the label's request. Got a response saying that the band read it, loved it, and had even discussed maybe revising the direction of the project a bit to justify inclusion. Not going to happen but hey... feels good.

So, my mum's friend since childhood (she's pretty much like an aunt for me) just got engaged - at the age of 57-58. Totally awesome. *insert something cheesy about "it's never too late" here*

That really is awesome. I can think of nothing else to say other than that I'm genuinely happy for her. Tis a lovely story.

It is! She's always been really eccentric, and snow she's got man who is just as quirky as she is. :D

It JUST occurred to me that I might be going to a wedding. I've never been to a wedding before.

Finalized our album mixes last night. And today receiving more awesome news that a much more renowned studio may be mastering this thing. Needless to say I am unable to wipe a very wide grin from my face. :D

Must. Not. Spill. Beans. Prematurely.

If you're that excited, it's not the beans you should be worried about spilling prematurely... ;) Congrats dude!
