Wow, he's looking rather grandfatherly in that pic!

Great work though. :D

Downside of being sick today is that I was home to watch Scotty win the Masters.

I was stoked when he won!

It was pretty exciting stuff. Cabrera played so well at the end there too and was a class act in defeat.

Sorry for the long post but it's filled with EPIC PERSONAL SUSPENSE that means nothing to anyone else.

I got to my driving test (third attempt) 30 minutes early at which point my instructor asks "Do you have your licence and everything?" to which I reply "FUCK, NO!" I live about 30 minutes drive away. My instructor gets in the driving seat and gets us there in 20 mins. I know from previous experience (whole other story) that they allow you to be up to 5 mins late so we have 15 mins. The whole way back he's saying we won't make it in time. Apparently there was a protest in town so loads of traffic was rediverted in our way. We got there 4 minutes late, wooooooo!

My examiner was the one that failed me last time so I was super nervous, not helped by the fact my instructor told me earlier that morning I was doing my test at the second hardest test centre in the country. Personally I'd have left that out on the day! Nevertheless I PASSED!! :D :D :D

I don't even want to drive any more but it means I can now get on with the serious business of trying to get a new job and moving to London.

Congrats man! I know how nerve destroying driving tests are!

One bit of advice, if I may be an unsolicited-advice-giving-douchebag (and I think I may)... Drive now. On your own. As much as possible. You'll be an infinitely better driver for it. I learned so much more as a licensed driver than I actually did as a learner driver.
