I like the guitar a lot but the neck is a bit fucked. I tried putting the neck from my sammick but I'd have to cut new holes and fuck that.

At the same time, my bro also finished sanding down the frets of my BC rich (I got it for $50... its a warlock and it was pink! Awesome guitar). Thankfully that neck fit on just fine and now I have an ugly fretless guitar.

Its not easy to play but it works!! My brother had it sounding really sweet.

Chords aren't easy cos u have to hit it spot on!!

If I'm playing a progression i have to make sure all notes are being hit right otherwise when my bro solos, it'll sound poo.

Guitar mods are very funny... my god, wait till I do half the shit I have in mind. I want to fuse my old NES controller to my guitar and use it as a midi controller or WHATEVER. I have a friend who is stupidly good with electronic shit.

My brother "modded" his jackson. It used to belong to my cousin but he can't even play guitar. So my bro pretty much took the guitar off him which is a good thing because he wrote his gf's name all over the guitar *shudder*

So my brother sanded it down, painted it a little... then he let fire putty eat half of it...

Fire putty is when you get styrofoam and let lots of petrol absorb into it. It eventually turns into this greyish goo. He put some on his guitar and left it to burn... it burns for hours!!!

im thinking of buying a crappy gibson copy and stringing it with 2 E strings, 2 A strings and 2 D strings, then tuning it to EEAADD and see what happens. should be interesting but i havnt deen any gibson copys anywhere. i dont really wanna do it with my own axes in case in screws up

i've always been intriguied by fretless instruments.. interesitng...

As a rule, people don't tend to use fretless guitars for chord work primarily. I've always been interested in playing fretless guitars - just don't tend to get many places keeping them in stock - something you have to decide you want and order usually

I'e found the best way to fuck with it is by doing slide shit but with your fingers, sounds so sweet, especially when you start incorporating new methods.

The only fretless I've heard was Dweezil Zappa. He used to to all these cool shimmery slides around the neck. Very nice.
